It’s almost Oh-13 so I figured I’d post a few of my favorite photos that came out in the last year. This is Mike back smithing a rail in China. Unfortunately the photo doesn’t do a very good job of illustrating the two-story drop on the other side of that rail. Going to China with Mike was awesome, I haven’t seen him that psyched on hitting the streets in years. I’m pretty sure all his footage in Pretty Sweet came from the two trips he went on out there.
Alex Olson, Wallie bs 180. This is in Koreatown, it’s one of those spots you always look at but never get out of the car.
Raven Tershy, Ollie in. More China. By now you’ve seen this in Pretty Sweet. As awesome as it looks in the video, seeing this in person was insane.
Andrew Brophy, Ollie around the corner from my house. I love when I don’t have to leave the neighborhood to shoot a photo. We need Brophy back in the hood!
Marc teetering in Orlando. This one was from a trip last year. Leave it to Marc to do the one thing you’d never think of at a spot like this. These are a lot harder to skate than they look.
Mike trying to protect himself from Florida’s harmful rays. I was laughing pretty hard when this one came back from the lab.
A bunch of the boys in Barcelona. The Europe trip this summer was really fun. Solid crew.
Stevie Perez lipsliding a tall one in the neighborhood.
Kenny, Ollie in Milan last summer. Kenny making the most of a quick field trip away from the Train Station Grate.
Vincent, Lipslide in Guangzhou. I want that Bull Shit shirt. Pretty sure Vince did this first try.
This is Vince with his dog Lucky on the zip line at Cory and Elijah’s house. They’re really hooking that place up over there.
Taking advantage of the neighborhood again. Alex had already filmed one of these in NY but wanted to re-film it in a line. This is the one that ended up going in the video. I wish I could shoot all photos at this time of day. This is one of my favorite photos in a while.
Raven, almost grinding a building. This was another one that was epic in person. Even better, we didn’t have permits, just went and attached these huge quarter pipes to a building and went about our business.
2012 was definitely a fun year. More next week….
