Phoning It In (America’s Wang Edition)
Posted by admin | March 18th, 2011

Just got back from a long filming trip to Florida. Here are a bunch of photos from my phone. Sorry for the Hipstamatic overkill but it's a pretty fun app.

BA and Elijah talking sticker jobs the first night in. (One time on the trip I actually called Bri BA instead of Brian and we were both pretty weirded out.)

Shipping 3 generators to Florida had to be pricey. It was definitely worth every penny.

Some spots pretty much demand that you stay in the van.

Vincent getting Frankie some cardio.

Pretty hyped when I saw this. Itching all over is a pretty common response to eating at 7-11.

Setting up shop in Orlando.

Brian's pretty good at finding photo-ops.

Probably would have been easier to just throw that in the back seat.

MikeMo. Life imitates art. This is probably the first time he posed for a photo for me and didn't immeditately grab his junk.

Vincent. BS 5-0 at a secret location in Palm Beach.

If Kenny looks tired it's because he's spent the last 18 months in the jungle.

Forgot to pick this up for my kid. She's bumming.

Pretty cool DIY spot Joel Mienholz took us to in Miami.

Stretching is key.

Kenny. Classic form. Miami.

Late night Malto.

Finally! An advertisement that speaks my language.

Mac's Club Deuce. A few of us were at this place every night in Miami. I highly recommend it.

Miami Guy.

Down time in the Van. Miami to Jacksonville.

Most hotels give you a mint on your pillow. At the super 8 in Jacksonville you find a bag of ecstacy. No shit. This place was sketchy.

Turning up the suck to 11 everywhere you go.

I'm guessing there's actually plenty of drama in this place.

Pretty extreme parking situation.

BA was doing custom sticker jobs for people. This one is Elijah's.

The posse at Kona in Jacksonville. Vince isn't in the photo because he was getting ready to air over everybody. Going to Kona was definitely a highlight of the trip.

We were at this place til about 4 in the morning one night until the Cops came flying in. After telling us we had 5 min to get packed up or go to Jail, they spent 10 minutes bro-ing down with us by the vans. Make up your mind guys.

Right before Kenny called the cops so we could go home. Thanks Kenny!

I was pretty tempted to get these.

Natural switch crooks.

Kenny and Elijah talking angles while Vincent gets his.

End of the trip. People were getting a little tired.

Brian got a fresh fade for Tampa Pro.

Had to be done.

April 1st, 2011 at 6:20 amat that blue ledge in Gainesville that the cops came flying up to you guys. I was there a lil over a year ago and a similar thing happened, im sure it was the same cops. My friends had all been there the year before and they said they remembered that they had kicked some kids from chicago out of there a yr before but it definately wasnt us, when it really was. One of the cops had claimed to comment on the youtube video of the edit that day, after some investigation we learned that he did comment on the video. crazy stuff.
I also overkill the Hipstamatic app sometimes, its just too good
