Blowing Shit Up.

I just got my negatives back from the Fully Flared intro shoot and figured I might as well post a few. (Current events and all.)

"It's mellow, we're just gonna shoot you with this thing."

There was a ton of media there. I think this is when Alex was first getting into photography. He had a photojournalism outfit on.

There was a lot of downtime on the set.

But it was hot as hell out so everyone was trying to cram into the one bit of shade on the lot.

Before the first shot they tried to acclimate the guys to the noise. Bit of a shocker.

I think this was the first shot.

Everybody was into decorating the set.

Cairo's hubba was the first skate stunt I think. He warmed up with a nosegrind to test out the hubba. It was pretty big.

Then they blew him up.

Next try...

Same results. Shit was pretty scary.

That was it for his shot. Everyone had only two tries. Pretty sure he was hyped to be over it. I think the girl on the left is from the legal department. Getting a little worried.

If there was an award for best dressed that day, Welsh would have won it hands down.

There were a lot of kids hanging around trying to get in.

This guy was keeping them out.

Apparently Gilligan hats were real big back then. I think Mike looks a little bit like The Situation in this photo.

Pat O'Dell was there. This is like behind the scenes the making of of the behind the scenes.

"I think it's gonna be like some fireworks or something. Shouldn't be too crazy."

The set design was amazing. No detail was overlooked.

Just a couple guys hanging out talking about cupcakes from Magnolia.

This is right before Lucas got blown up.

Lucas got it pretty bad. The medical guy didn't know he was from France and was pretty freaked out when he started talking French.

Downtime.

And then it was a wrap. Going on a film trip this week, I'll try and post some stuff from the road.

    Sweet photos – after seeing that flick a dozen times, it’s awesome to be able to see a little more about what went into it. I had no idea the skaters had two tries at everything, thought it was do or die.
